Duties - Provides nursing care to patients in the inpatient setting with a variety of medical conditions, performing tasks such as recording vital signs, monitoring patient conditions, and reporting significant findings to the supervising nurse or physician. - Medication Administration and Observation. Administers prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed. - Assists in performing and managing medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and respiratory therapies, under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed medical practitioner - Provides patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals. - Assists patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs to promote comfort and recovery. - Assist the physician with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
