Duties: - Take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference, and length). - Document patients' chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record. - Administer oral, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular immunizations to all age groups in accordance with established protocols. - Perform teaching to patients and/or family regarding self-care procedures and document teaching. - Recognize adverse signs and symptoms immediately and call for assistance if the situation warrants it. - Set up, operate and monitor specialized equipment, such as cardiac monitor, and/or defibrillator. Performs other duties as assigned.
