MAJOR DUTIES: - Anesthetize patients for a broad range of surgeries extending from the simplest to the most complex of procedures. - Evaluate patients physical and mental status with respect to anesthesia, consulting with the anesthesiologist, if necessary, to evaluate patients conditions and desired course of action. - Observe the patient during surgery, to accomplish and maintain the proper level of anesthesia depth and to prevent over-dosage. - Serve as resource consultant to a wide variety of professional health colleagues, regarding the latest advances in nursing anesthesia and nursing practice. Performs other duties as assigned.
