An excellent Drug Use Policy Manager opportunity is available with a highly respected academic medical center in Southern California. This full-time leadership role is ideal for a clinically strong pharmacist looking to step into management while remaining involved in patient care. The Manager will oversee a team of nine pharmacists across Drug Use Policy and Antimicrobial Pharmacy while leading clinical initiatives, medication-use policies, guidelines, and pharmacy projects. Qualified candidates must have a Pharm.D, strong clinical pharmacy experience, and recent inpatient staffing experience. PGY2 training in Drug Use Policy, Drug Information, Critical Care, or a similar clinical specialty is highly preferred. Pharmacists with approximately 6-8 years of strong clinical experience may also be considered. Previous formal management experience is not required, making this a great opportunity for Lead or Supervisor-level pharmacists ready to take the next step. Strong project management and evidence-based medicine skills are highly valued. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $160K-$281K, an annual manager incentive of up to 12%, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. The schedule is Monday through Friday with approximately one weekend of inpatient staffing per month.
