As a Physician Assistant (IM) your duties will include, but are not limited to: Inpatient Clinical Care Conducts comprehensive patient workups, physical exams, and clinical history reviews. Orders/interprets lab tests, diagnostic imaging, and specialty consults. Diagnoses conditions, develops therapeutic care plans, and prescribes medications. Performs credentialed clinical procedures and emergency/crisis stabilization interventions. Manages patient documentation, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries (securing required physician countersignatures within 24 hours). Coordinates multidisciplinary care, patient education, and post-discharge follow-ups across ward, step-down, and ICU settings. Outpatient Clinical Support Evaluates and manages acute, routine, chronic follow-up, and consultative appointments in the Internal Medicine Clinic as workload allows. Writes outpatient orders and updates medical records.
