Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality patient care and support patients in achieving their mobility and rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and functional activities
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Follow facility policies and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license/certification as required by the state
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Current BLS certification preferred/required as applicable
- Updated resume and required credentials
