For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $73.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,920.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $46.85
Hourly Stipend: $26.15
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,874.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,046.00

Our client is seeking an experiencedRadiation Therapistto perform prescribed radiotherapy procedures, provide patient-centered care, safely operate radiation therapy equipment, and ensure accurate treatment delivery in accordance with established standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy using radiation therapy equipment.
Obtain patient history, answer questions, explain procedures, and monitor patients during treatment.
Verify prescriptions, diagnoses, charts, and patient identification for accurate treatment.
Prepare patients, treatment rooms, and equipment; safely position patients for treatment.
Perform verification and port film exposures and make treatment corrections as directed by the physician.
Schedule patients and coordinate with physicists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other care providers.
Maintain accurate electronic and written treatment documentation.
Reinforce patient education regarding treatment reactions, irradiated-area care, and potential side effects.
Follow hospital and departmental safety, infection control, quality, and operational standards.

Qualifications:

Education:Associate's degree in Radiography with certification in Radiation Therapy 'Required; Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy ' Preferred
Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program and registered through ARRT in Radiation Therapy
Experience:Minimum 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
Licensure: Active Ohio Radiation Therapist License 'Required
Certification: ARRT ' Required; CPR certification 'Required
Technical Experience: TrueBeam/ARIA experience ' Preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills
