Pay Details:

 

For Locals: $54/hr to $58/hr 

 

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 45-mile radius from the facility):

 

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate:      $60.50

Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate:  $2,178.00

Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate:    $25.90

Hourly Stipend:                 $34.60    

Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $932.40

Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable):    $1,245.60

Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $63.00

Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:     $2,268.00

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with a strong focus on post-operative open-heart and cardiac care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•     Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients, maintaining safety, comfort, and dignity.

•     Provide post-operative care for open-heart surgery patients.

•     Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to rhythm changes.

•     Manage chest tubes, drains, temporary pacers, and pericardial pacing wires.

•     Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access.

•     Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities.

•     Assist with chest tube and pericardial pacing wire removal.

•     Utilize and troubleshoot NIV, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems.

•     Float to other units within the nurse's skill level as required

 

Qualifications:

 

•     Education: Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing program – Required

•     Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience – Required

•     Post-operative open-heart care experience – Required

•     Chest tube and drain management experience – Required

•     Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation experience – Required

•     Advanced cardiac and pulmonary knowledge – Required

•     Active Ohio RN license – Required

•     BLS (AHA) – Required

•     ACLS (AHA) – Required

•     Critical Care experience – Highly Preferred
