Pay Details:
For Locals: $55.00 to $62.00
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the applicable travel radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $65.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,340.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $27.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $972.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,368.00

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $68.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,448.00
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg Float Pool. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple inpatient medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to different patient populations, clinical needs, and unit workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
The RN will float across inpatient Medical-Surgical units, step-down units, and the Emergency Department for Med/Surg holds. Nurses must be comfortable working across multiple units and adapting to varying patient acuity and staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
' Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple medical-surgical and step-down units
' Assess patients, identify changes in condition, and implement appropriate nursing interventions
' Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
' Provide care for a diverse medical-surgical patient population
' Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
' Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EPIC
' Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
' Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and prioritize care according to patient acuity
' Adapt quickly to different unit workflows, patient populations, and staffing assignments
' Provide safe and effective care while floating between assigned inpatient units
' Maintain compliance with hospital policies, medication safety standards, and documentation requirements
' Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
' Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
Qualifications:
' Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
' Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
' New graduates are not eligible
' Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience required
' Previous float pool experience preferred
' Must be comfortable floating across multiple inpatient units
' Strong EPIC proficiency required
' Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
' BLS certification required
' NIHSS certification required
' ACLS certification preferred
' TNCC certification preferred
' Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, communication, and organizational skills
