Job Description

Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP), with experience in an inpatient setting, to the team in our West Palm Beach, FL market!

Primary Responsibilities:

New admissions
Cross-coverage of existing hospitalist patients
Supporting nursing staff and hospital operations
Assisting with patient throughput and admission efficiency

Required Qualifications:

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an NP in an inpatient setting (internal medicine, inpatient hospitalist)
Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
Comfortable working independently in a hospital setting

Schedule and Setting:

Monday-Friday
Day Shift: 8am-5pm
Inpatient Hospital

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
