A healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a First Assist role with their Gynecology Surgery teams in Atlantic City and Pomona, New Jersey. This locum tenens opportunity supports a collaborative operating room team performing advanced robotic gynecologic procedures.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business hours
• Setting: Inpatient Operating Room

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the surgical first assist during robotic gynecologic procedures
• Assist the supervising surgeon throughout operative cases
• Collaborate with the operating room team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Document patient care in Cerner EMR
• Support care for an adult patient population

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
• Robotic First Assist certification or experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN certifications
• NPDB Self-Query completed within the last 30 days
