An acute care hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Poughkeepsie, NY to provide comprehensive midwifery care in a collaborative women's health setting. This role involves supporting patients across labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecologic, and preventive care services.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: 24-hour Labor & Delivery shifts
• Setting: In-person, acute care hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care across the continuum of women's health.
• Manage antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic patients.
• Conduct vaginal deliveries and support labor management in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians.
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and preventive women's health services.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program.
• Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
• Active New York State RN and Nurse Midwife licenses.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain it.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaborative practice skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Desired Skills:

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Previous Labor & Delivery and midwifery experience.
• Experience with first assist procedures.
