Job Description
Medrina is a large physician-owned medical group expanding in Ocala, FL, and we are actively seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This role focuses on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic rehabilitation, stroke recovery, pain management, and medically complex geriatric patients.

Position Highlights:
- Full-time opportunity
- Monday'Friday schedule
- 'Round and Go' model
- No nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Work alongside an experienced lead provider
- Full patient load from day one
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in post-acute and rehabilitation settings
- Manage orthopedic rehab, stroke recovery, chronic pain, and medically complex geriatric patients
- Perform admissions, follow-up visits, and discharge evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and quality of life
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Experience with geriatric, internal medicine, rehabilitation, SNF, hospitalist, orthopedic, neurology, or pain management populations strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
