Medrina is a large physician-owned medical group expanding in Ocala, FL, and we are actively seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This role focuses on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic rehabilitation, stroke recovery, pain management, and medically complex geriatric patients.

Position Highlights:

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Work alongside an experienced lead provider
• Full patient load from day one

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in post-acute and rehabilitation settings
• Manage orthopedic rehab, stroke recovery, chronic pain, and medically complex geriatric patients
• Perform admissions, follow-up visits, and discharge evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and quality of life

Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Experience with geriatric, internal medicine, rehabilitation, SNF, hospitalist, orthopedic, neurology, or pain management populations strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
