Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering safe and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of consecutive Medical-Surgical RN experience (no float pool, Step-Down, Telemetry, or other specialty experience).
• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required.
• Current Michigan RN License required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required
  
  Pay Details:
  
  For Local Candidates pay rate: $59 ($2,124) to $64 ($2,304) /hour (If your permanent address is within 35 miles from the facility)
  
  For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 35 mile radius from the facility):
  Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $70.00
  Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00
  Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $13.73
  Hourly Stipend: $56.27
  Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $494.28
  Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,025.72
  
  For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
  Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $73.00
  Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:$2,628.00
