Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $65 to $71 /hour (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $76.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,736.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $41.40

Hourly Stipend: $34.60
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,490.40
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,245.60


For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $80.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:$2,880.00

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery provides compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN monitors maternal and fetal well-being, assists with deliveries, responds to obstetric emergencies, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management, including epidurals.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Active WA State or Multistate RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, labor induction/augmentation, and postpartum recovery.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
