Location: 700 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: Days 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Pay Details:

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $70.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $31.89
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,148.04
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,371.96

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $75.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,700.00

Key Responsibilities:
'Provide nursing care for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and brain injuries.
' Perform neurological assessments and monitor for changes in patient status.
' Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies.
' Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
' Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
' Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.

Unit Information
' Stroke experience preferred.
' Candidates should be comfortable precepting and may be required to work in a virtual nursing room.
' This is a specialized Stroke and Neuro unit within a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
' The unit also cares for Orthopedic and Spine patients.
' Nurse-to-patient ratios:

Requirements:
'Minimum of 1 year of recent Neurology nursing experience.
'Must have EPIC experience
'Must have Trauma Level 1 hospital experience
'Must have at least 6 months travel experience
'Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification from the American Heart 'Association (AHA).
'NIHSS Certification preferred
'Active Registered Nurse (RN) OK or Multistate License.
