Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant ' Sleep Medicine

Phoenix, Arizona

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and sleep-focused assessments
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and other sleep-related conditions
  • Interpret diagnostic studies, including polysomnography (sleep studies) and home sleep apnea testing
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Educate patients and families regarding sleep disorders, treatment options, and healthy sleep habits
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active Arizona NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • DEA license or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
  • Sleep Medicine experience is preferred but not required
