A healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its Oncology team at one of its facilities in Bergen County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced oncologic nursing assessment and documentation
• Perform inpatient hospital rounding as per the provided schedule
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic treatments and non-pharmacologic modalities
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to the patient's disease-specific needs
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions prescribed
• Facilitate the patient's transition within and between healthcare settings
• Provide education to patients, families, and significant others
• Act as an information resource to students, healthcare professionals, patients, and the public
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) license for the state of New Jersey
• Oncology experience and/or ONS/ONCC certification
• Board Eligible / Certified
