Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP), with experience in an inpatient setting, to the team in our Palm Beach Gardens, FL market!

Key Responsibilities:

• Admissions focus with some rounding
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an inpatient setting (internal medicine, inpatient hospitalist)
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently in a hospital setting

Schedule & Setting:

• 7on/7off schedule
• Night Shift: 6:00pm-6:30am
• Hospital inpatient setting
• Closed ICU
• No procedures required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
