Hospital is seeking Medical H&P Hospitalist NP

- 7on/7off block schedule, 10-hour shift, Full-time, benefits eligible.

- Initial Medical admissions evaluations & H&Ps, follow ups, diagnostics and discharges for ages 5+.

- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health needs

- Comanage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside mental health providers. - Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health.

- Provide medical consultations and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed

- Required: Active Alaska NP/APRN license, AANPCB Board Certification, Minimum 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred (behavioral health experience a plus)
