Duties - Performs Screening Mammograms, Diagnostic Mammograms, QC/QA, Stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations. - Performs technical duties with the Mammography Reporting System, Electronic Health System, and PACS. - Assures sterile supplies, special needles, wires, and other equipment are in working order. - Counsels patients before, during, and after procedures and communicate breast imaging needs with patients. - Documents extensive quality assurance procedures to ensure high quality testing. - Conducts administrative and mandatory training. - Assists radiologist with performing breast biopsies.
