Job Description
Providence Womens Clinics is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife, full-time, to join its established midwifery team serving Portlands west side. The Certified Nurse Midwife in this role will join a highly successful hospital-based, collaborative practice providing full-scope midwifery to a diverse population. Certified Nurse Midwives provide reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals, including pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Births are attended at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center which includes a Level III NICU and OB Hospitalist support. Perinatologists, neonatologists, lactation consultants, and social workers further support patients and deliveries. - Full-time, 1.0 FTE,
- Encompasses both clinic-based and inpatient/surgical settings
- Group takes call in-house. Assigned call room for use when there is down time in the hospital
- Minimum of 2-years of post-graduate clinical experience as Certified Nurse Midwife preferred; or new graduate Certified Nurse Midwife with 2-years recent clinical RN experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum setting required
- First Assist/C-Section surgical experience preferred
- Compensation base: $74.59 to $87.58 hourly, based upon years licensed as a CNM
- Eligible for annual quality incentive, CME funds and hours, starting bonus, and relocation assistance
- Malpractice liability insurance provided by Providence
