Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our child and adolescent inpatient team in Kansas City, Kansas. This is a weekend-focused role ideal for a provider seeking consistent weekend work within a supportive inpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for child and adolescent inpatients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care
Supervise and coordinate care plans alongside attending psychiatrists and nursing staff
Ensure timely and compliant documentation of all clinical services
Inpatient, onsite only
Children and adolescents
Approximately 16 patients per day

Qualifications:

Licensed PMHNP in the state of Kansas (or eligible for licensure)
Experience in inpatient psychiatry, particularly with children and adolescents, strongly preferred
Ability to manage a consistent weekend caseload independently
Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
