Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

An FQHC in the Los Angeles suburbs is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult female patients in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide well-woman exams, prenatal/postpartum care, and ambulatory gynecologic services
• Perform core OB/GYN procedures (IUD insertion/removal, biopsies, colposcopy, OB ultrasound)
• Manage acute and chronic women’s health conditions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Deliver patient education on wellness, disease prevention, and reproductive health
• Support team-based care, daily huddles, and coordination of patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active California NP license & Board Certification
• DEA & BLS required
• Experience in adolescent/adult OB/GYN care
• FQHC or PCMH experience preferred
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records
