• 40 guaranteed hours per week -- 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts
• 1 - 2 OR cases daily, 5 - 15 total patients including ICU and step-down
• Call schedule 1:3 -- primarily OR coverage with occasional weekend rounding
• Cases include CABG, valves, aneurysms, and thoracic procedures
• Primary duties: OR first priority, floor rounding when not in surgery
• ICU and step-down unit coverage
• Emergency cases include dissections and urgent cardiac procedures
• EVH (Maquet Hemapro) experience required
