As a Physician Assistant (Internal Medicine) your duties will include, but are not limited to: - Serve on an inpatient medical ward team in delivering health care for inpatients in a ward, step-down and ICU environments. - Provide consultative services with physician over-site within the inpatient ward. - Provide out-patient services within the Internal Medicine Clinic for acute, routine, inpatient follow up or consultative type appointments. - Record entries into patients chart, including daily progress notes with test results, treatment plans and outcomes. - Write prescriptions and order the administration of medications for patients in accordance with approved treatment protocols.
