  • Full time Monday through Friday at 3 different locations but most like just 2 facilities
  • Weekday and Weekend call shifts
  • Weekday call shift starts after scheduled cases (normally 3- 5 PM until 0700 AM the next day)
  • Weekend Call Shifts start after scheduled cases on Friday. This is normally from 3-5 PM. Saturday-24 call shift. Sunday-24 call shift.
  • Weekend Call Shift Friday 3 PM until Monday 0700 AM
  • Procedures: general anesthesia, NO NEURO, NO CARDIAC, epidural(preferred), regional nerve blocks (preferred), central lines (preferred), MAC
  • OP surgeries occur at 1 facility Monday through Friday (times vary).
  • Facility #1 has 24/7 call for general surgery and OB. (surgery schedule during the Monday through Friday typical hours)
  • Usually, the person scheduled for Facility #2would just be in at that facility, but that is never a guarantee, there could be times that they could be there in the morning and in Facility #1in the afternoon, but it would depend on the locum arrangement.
  • There are no call requirements at Facility #2, only at Facility #1 Hospital. Facility #2is an outpatient surgery center only.
  • Starting in October:
  • Facility #2:
  • 1-general surgeon - Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
  • 1-podiatrist - Fridays.
  • 1-ENT comes each month on the second and fourth Thursdays to do his cases.
  • Facility #1:
  • Monday through Friday
  • Monday:
    • 1 General surgeon in the OR
    • 1 General surgeon -endo cases
  • Tuesday:
    • 1 OB in the OR
    • 1 General in the OR
  • Wednesday:
    • Endo -running 2 rooms
  • Thursdays
    • 2 rooms doing cataracts
    • 1 room doing endo
  • Friday
    • 1 room for general surgery
    • Add -Ons
  • Covid vaccine required
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • BLS Required
  • EMR: Epic
