Job Description

An established hospitalist group has an opening for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work as a Hospitalist (Nocturnist) in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area. Join a team of highly trained, professional providers who work to make the lives of their patients better with each passing day.

Job Details:

  • Full-time position, 7 on/7 off schedule
  • 12-hour shifts- 7 pm-7 am
  • Provide nocturnist NP coverage during overnight hours, ensuring continuous, effective patient care
  • Manage and coordinate admissions consultations as needed
  • Manage all acute care Patients, overseeing their care and plans
  • 28 Bed Med/Surg, 12 Bed ICU, 16 Bed Gero/Psych Hospital
  • The provider will cover the ICU, but hospitalists and critical care providers are available as back-up

Requirements:

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient setting preferred but not required
