Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist just 20 minutes from Hartford, CT

Excellent opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) looking for a Hospitalist opportunity with an experienced group.

• Our hospital is a closed ICU with Physician intensivists. We're actively seeking board-certified APPs with hospitalist experience or training, and we welcome nurse practitioners and physician assistants to apply.
• Our responsibilities encompass rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds.
• As part of our hospitalist team, you'll actively participate in the rapid response and code team. We're all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. The intensivist team seamlessly takes over code management upon arrival.
• Our team convenes twice a month over lunch to discuss team matters and stay updated on hospital developments. We also organize monthly education days to deepen our understanding of other hospital departments.
• While our primary scheduling format follows a week-on/week-off pattern, we remain flexible to consider alternate options.
• We use Meditech for electronic health records and have access to our internal informatics platform.
