As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as: - Provide independent and collaborative specialty, comprehensive, and therapeutic health care services. - Perform assessments of acute, non-acute, chronic clinical and psychological diagnosis, new patient intake/screening, history and physical examination. - Format a therapeutic plan of care in collaboration with specialty physicians. - Provide educational management to patients and their families regarding disease processes and diagnostic tests. - Provide counseling to patients and their families for prevention of illness and maintenance of health. - Refer high-risk, unstable, or extremely complex patients to the physicians and emergency medicine. - Communicate patient management strategies to members of the patient care team.
