- Completes screenings of patients; measures and records intake and output; and notifies Registered Nurse of any abnormal readings. - Administers medications subcutaneously, intramuscular, intradermal, and Z-Tract. - Administers immunizations as ordered and screened by providers. - Receives telephone calls, patients, and visitors to the medical facility, ascertains the nature of the call or visit, obtains identifying information, and determines the nature and urgency of the patient's request. - Performs a variety of other support and clerical duties, e.g., compiling data for end of day/monthly reports, maintaing the waiting areas in a neat and orderly manner, performing crash cart checks and immunization refrigerator readings. - Performs other duties as assigned.
