A forensic state hospital is seeking a clinical psychologist for locum tenens telehealth coverage.

About the Facility Location

The facility is located 2 hours and 45 minutes northwest of Dallas, TX.

About the Clinician's Workday

The psychologist will be conducting evaluations full-time, including dangerous review board and competency to stand trial, sometimes involving malingering issues. The expectation in number should be 15-20 evaluations per month, depending on complexity. The psychologist would receive assignments to be completed within 15 business days. The person would need to be trained on the SIRS2, HCR20, third edition, malingering, competency to stand trial, and assessment of dangerousness in order to complete these evaluations. The assignment is telehealth, but orientation will need to be completed on-site. Credentialing can be completed in 2 weeks.
