Job Description

Gastroenterologist - $698k+ and Up To $100k Sign On
Portsmouth, Ohio

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a turnkey practice with an experienced team of providers! Their NPs have 10+ years of GI experience and has been rooted in the community since 2012! This position will be busy immediately and call is light.

Compensation and Benefits
- Option #1: Base salary of $552,670+ (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.

- Option #2: Base salary of $698,544+ (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract. Potential to earn 90% or above MGMA salary with bonuses!

- Sign on bonus equal to 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years depending on bonus amount)
- Excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary
- Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company 
- Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
- Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). Additional 5 days when producing 75%tile wRVUs
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000
- 403b plan and 457b plan
- Malpractice Insurance Covered
- Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
- Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment)

Schedule and Clinical Details
- Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm
- Call is light. Can take call from home, rarely need to come in for emergent cases
- Procedures: Bread & Butter GI
- Case load: 10-15 procedures per day in Endo Suite, 30 patients per day in clinical office
- Current Staff: 1 Physician, 2 NPs, 2 LPNs, 3 MOAs, 1 Service Line Manager, 1 Office Manager

Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible
- Must have an active Ohio medical license or willing to obtain
- Open to H1B Visa sponsorship
