Trinity Health Of New England—the region’s largest nonprofit health system—is seeking Rheumatologists to join our team. We are accepting Board Certified applicants for the role of Section Chief of Rheumatology, and BC/BE applicants for the role of Staff Rheumatologist. Join our well-established academic practice within Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Section Chief of Rheumatology
This is a superb opportunity for a midcareer physician to join a busy multisite practice in one of the largest multispecialty physician groups in southern New England. We are seeking someone who has exceptional collaborative, academic, operational and mentoring skills, and who can lead a dedicated group of clinician-educators. Active academic affiliations with two regional medical schools, plus the chance to help build a new multidisciplinary patient-centered facility for complex rheumatic diseases (supported by a recent major philanthropic donation), make this a unique opportunity.
This is an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate your strong collaborative, academic and supervisory skills while treating patients with a variety of rheumatologic disorders. In this role, you will join four other highly experienced rheumatologists as part of a larger, hospital-based multispecialty group. You’ll enjoy a busy, high-volume practice as well as the opportunity to supervise rheumatology fellows from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Fellowship or residency leadership experience is a plus. You may also provide care at four additional satellite offices serving greater Hartford.
Trinity Health Of New England’s collaborative practice model empowers physicians to work at their highest level—and allows time for professional development and family life. Whether you are focused on providing outstanding patient-centered care, teaching the next generation of care providers or growing into a leadership role, it’s time to join Trinity Health Of New England.
