Locums Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician Opening

Clinical Role:

- Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: 24hr
- Coverage Dates (Specific, long term only): 8-10 shifts per month May-Oct or until enough internals hired
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active State License
- Reason for Coverage: New program
- EMR: Meditech. Changing to Expanse in Q4 2024
- NICU Level: 2
- Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): ~1000 but may drop some in early 2024
- Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (annual): Anticipating most deliveries will be turned over to OBHG
- Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): TBD
- MFM onsite? Tele MFM
- In-house Anesthesia? Yes 24/7
- Residency Program and Type: EM, FM, Anesthesia, Surgery, and IM Fellowship
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- License/DEA Requirements (State or Client): Active SC required
