Neurosurgeon - (Neurosurgery) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A Level II trauma center in Wisconsin has a need for neurosurgery trauma coverage for 2 weeks/month to cover call, emergent surgeries, vacations, etc. Minimal clinic responsibility. Candidate must have neurosurgical trauma experience and be willing to complete trauma CME and training requirements. A neurosurgeon (locum tenens) specializes in treating nervous system-related diseases through surgical procedures. They may perform operations to treat conditions such as neck and head injuries, brain tumors, and even back problems. While many neurosurgeons practice general neurosurgery, there are a wide range of specializations as well, including vascular/endovascular, peripheral nerve, and skull base subspecialties. Neurosurgery is an extremely research-oriented field, with many neurosurgeons devoting their lives to refining the procedures that are used to treat nervous system-related conditions.
