Nonprofit health system in the Mountain West seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for their level IV NICU.

About the opportunity:

• Location: Utah
• Start Date: ASAC
• Schedule: 12 hr. shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7a (24 hrs. shifts are from 7a-7a.)

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced nursing duties, including health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prescription in consultation with a referral plan.
• Be responsible for patient care within licensure guidelines and defined documentation.
• Conduct patient assessments, order tests, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Oversee and provide treatment, ensuring optimal outcomes and cost-efficiency.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within their scope.
• Document patient care accurately and bill appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Masters or higher degree.
• Current state license
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
