Clinical Role:

- Start: 5/1/24
- Duration of assignment: 3 months
- Schedule: 5 Days/week FT
- Shift times: 8am-4:30pm then night call starting at 4:30p
- Evening call 430p-8a M-F (no weekends)
- Setting: Outpatient
- Duties: To see/work up new hematology and oncology patients, see follow up patients, oversee chemotherapy delivery/symptom management and attend tumor conferences.
- FTE: 1.0
- Required Procedures: Bone Marrow Biopsy
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Direct to MD- Clinic RN, APRN Other staff include: phlebotomist, Infusion RNs, Social Worker, RN Navigator, Phone triage/authorization team, etc.
- Reason for Coverage: Working to hire MD
- Admissions per day: 1-3 avg/day inpatient consults
- Patients/day: 4-6 new patients (hem/onc), 15-20 follow-up, 20-25 total patients/day would be desired
- Types of cases: New Hematology, new oncology, follow-up of both areas
- Board Certified in both Hem/Onc - Required
- Active KY License Required, or will accept IMLC LOQ
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Hematology/Oncology
- ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
