Locums Fort Myers, Florida, Gastroenterology Openings

- Inpatient daily 24-hour call coverage hours- Monday- Sunday 7am-7 am
- Need 2 locum Inpatient Gastroenterology providers for coverage for a possibility of 4 different locations
- Call coverage needs depending on location, may be nightly, may be every other night. At least on e week per month coverage. Provider covers one location per day and ideally 1 location per stretch of dates. We do ask for flexibility to move between locations but do NOT generally ask for travel mid-day.
- Job Description: GI Inpatient Hospitalist. Consults, follow ups, scopes
- Patients per day: 10-20
- Support Staff: Advanced Practitioners, hospital support
- Procedures required: Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and ERCP
- Additional surgical staff: Endoscopy unit with full staff
- Gastroenterology - Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate inpatient or consultative services for at least 50 patients during the past 12 months
- EUS - Required previous experience: Demonstrated current competence and evidence of the performance of at least 24 EUS procedures (mucosal/submucosal, pancreaticobiliary, and EUS-guided fine needle aspirations) in the past 36 months
- Providers must have an active FL license, clean background and clean NPDB
- Must be Board Certified
- ERCP Required
- Must meet all procedure log requirements to be booked
- Must allow 30 days for credentialing
