  • Need general acute GI coverage to provide additional call coverage support to our GI physicians after one left
  • Schedule: Monday 8am - Monday 8am (7 days)
  • Shift times: 8am-5pm inhouse and phone call coverage from 5pm to 8am
  • Call is 5pm to 8 am
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Duties: provide in-house coverage for ED consults and inpatient consults
  • FTE: 1.0
  • Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, ERCP if possible
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: yes, in the endo room
  • Reason for Coverage: shortage of GI physicians for call
  • Admissions per day depends on ED activity
  • Patients/day: 10-15 on average
  • Types of cases: general acute GI patients
  • BC or BE - Required
  • Active CA License Required
  • GI fellowship - Required
  • DEA - Required
