A critical access hospital near Spokane is seeking a family practitioner to take over a solo clinic practice from a retiring physician. The clinic is located in a brand-new building with heliport, 16-slice CT scan, ultrasound, labs and x-ray on site. The hospital owns a house nearby for the physician when on call. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is a 98% outpatient position, and you will have one weekend a month of ER call for a small ER that sees 1000 patients/year, and one night a week on primary care call. The facility requires that you be board certified or board eligible. A current WA license will be required. If you do not currently hold a license in WA, CompHealth's licensing team can assist you with the process and application. Current residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.
