The current physician will be retiring in a year. We have been asked to find a good fit. He will still stay on board to make the transition and then be “done”.
We have an immediate need for a Family Practice physician to maintain services in a small community near the MN/ND border.
Client is preparing for planned retirement of current full time FP. This is a busy practice; you would inherit a very robust and thriving practice. You literally are able to walk into a ready-made practice.
This is an employed practice model which provides all you need to make it happen...with little or no worries about your future.
Friendly, family based community of over 3,000 near the lakes area of NW Minnesota. Easy access to the numerous lakes in the region. Affordable housing and good schools. Easy drive to Minneapolis/ St, Paul on I-94.
The local public school has 850 students and a planned graduation class of 50. The superintendent told me 85% of the graduates will go on to college or vocational technical college. The remainder will join the work force with some also opting for the military.
This will be a 100% Outpatient practice with NO OB. Expectations would be to see all age groups.
The clinic location would allow the physician to have a fair amount of autonomy as you would be somewhat isolated from the “main clinic”. The location is a quick drive into Fargo/Moorhead for shopping needs not available in town.
There is NO CALL as they only operate during clinic hours, however I am sure there will the occasional personal call to answer questions/concerns, as would be typical in a small community like this.
Staffing currently at the clinic is one physician and one PA.
Compensation & benefits:
- Base compensation will be $250,000 guarantee
- Total compensation during the guarantee period will be the greater of the production formula or the guarantee
- Relocation allowance
- Signing bonus of $ 100,000
- Other benefits will include, but not be limited to, life health and malpractice insurance, CME allowance, vacation & CME time as well as pension and retirement options.
