Job Description



Primary Care Physician needed to join Iowa’s largest private, multispecialty physician group with more than 80 physicians. The group is Iowa’s premiere medical center with on-site imaging and laboratory, state-of-the-art technology, infusion center and more to help deliver tailored solutions and successful outcomes for patients.



  • Would be joining 3 Family Medicine, 1 Internal Medicine, 2 Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician Assistant Clinicians with another FP set to start in August
  • Would only be responsible for covering your own patients admitted, no others and have a 1:5 clinic call set to continue improving   
  • Clinicians averaging 18-30 patients a day, all ages with the possibility to build your own specific patient panel (Fellowship Trained candidates welcomed)
  • Clinic is open Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
  • Ability to become a shareholder after 24 months
  • Will be in newly built 250,000 sq. ft facility with a new 100,000 sq. ft facility being built next door
  • Academic affiliation, case reviews and research available, and full autonomy
  • Group has over 16 other specialties including Orthopedics, PM&R, Pain Management, GS, URO, CTS, Oncology, ENT, Neuro, Rheumatology - Referrals are abundant, and volume is there for someone to do very well
  • Organization is worth over $100 million, all shareholder doctors making 75-95% MGMA earnings per year



  • 1-2-year salary of $235,000 - $255,000 with ability to bonus based on wRVU’s
  • Current doctors all set to be making around 75% MGMA Median based on production  
  • Comprehensive Benefit package with Dental, Vision and Medical options of HAS, PPO or MSO
  • $2,500 a month stipend for anyone still in training
  • Sign on Bonus of $20,000 - $45,000 a year, relocation of $10,000 and paid CME of $3,000
  • 4 weeks PTO and time needed for CME


Stock and Ownership Buy-In Options:

  • Stock in corporation set at $30,000, annual return of $25,000
  • Stock in Real Estate Entity set at $75,000, annual return of $30,000
  • Stock in Service Line (your department) set anywhere between $13,000 - $30,000 with equal department return annually
  • Stock in new Parking Garage set at $2,500, annual return of $2,500
  • Stock in Surgery Center set at $45,000, 100% payback within 24 months
