We have a new opportunity for a board-certified/board-eligible emergency medicine physician to practice in northwestern Iowa, about an hour from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You'll work 12- or 24-hour shifts in a small emergency department that sees about 3,600 annual visits. You can work up to 72 hours straight, if desired. ATLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are all required. In addition to the ED, you'll be expected to cover critical patients in the hospital but you won't round.
