Vidant Medical Group in partnership with The Outer Banks Hospital is currently seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join its team in Nags Head, North Carolina. Emergency Medicine training is required. FT and PT opportunities are available.

The Outer Banks Hospital is a full service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital opened in March 2002 and is one of the newest hospitals in eastern North Carolina. The hospital is designed to meet the needs of our coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. OBH, which is fully accredited by the Joint Commission (JACHO), provides high quality care in a compassionate environment to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and has been nationally recognized for its outstanding patient care.
The hospital's 21-bed ED serves approximately 23,100 patients each year from the local community and surrounding towns. .
Vidant Medical Group is a multispecialty physician group sponsored by Vidant Health. Currently Vidant Medical Group employs over 400 providers including primary care and specialists. The group offers the infrastructure needed to manage a modern medical practice including processes for billing and collection, group contracting, electronic medical records and other technologies.
