A cardiac heart failure physician is needed with a health system in Virginia. The schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The cardiac heart failure physician will consult on patients from the general cardiologists at the hospital campus and in the area. Call will be very light, and the will be screened by advanced practice providers. The facility is planning to hire cardiology candidates who are board certified in advanced heart failure. The hospital has a strong relationship with a local university, so an academic role can be arranged for you if you are interested. A VA license will be required, and CompHealth licensing team can assist with the processing and application.
Guaranteed salary negotiations start at $400K. You will also be offered health benefits, and six weeks of PTO, up to $10K relocation reimbursement, a $20K sign-on, life insurance, short and long-term disability, seven days of CME with a $5K stipend, a 401k and 403B retirement package with matching, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
