Academic Interventional Cardiologist needed in New Orleans

Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking candidates for the position of Interventional Cardiologist. This position is a full time faculty appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Candidates are required to be ABIM Board Certified and Fellowship trained. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, and be comfortable in a busy clinical practice while working with students and fellows.
There are currently 15 clinical faculty in the Division of Cardiology who offer a full range of services including a CHF clinic and certified LVAD Destination Therapy program, a Chest Pain Center with PCI capability, CRM device implants, Coronary and Peripheral Intervention, PCI for CTO patients, EP diagnosis and treatment, and non-invasive services such as Accredited Echo Lab, Stress Testing, and EKG. The faculty offers services through 3 affiliated major teaching hospitals and clinics and a department operated outreach ambulatory clinic.
The Section hosts an ACGME accredited General Cardiology Fellowship program with 24 fellows and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program with 2 fellows. The Division of Cardiology is also actively involved in bench, translational and clinical trials research and candidates would be expected to foster a productive research environment.
This is a full time faculty appointment with Tulane University School of Medicine. As a University employed faculty member, you will receive a negotiable salary and academic appointment commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package, and relocation allowance
