A single-specialty group in Iowa needs additional general anesthesia and cardiac anesthesia support. The community has growing demand, so the group is reviewing new candidates for both positions. Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship is required for cardiac job. Regional fellows are also welcomed. Strong regional skills are a big plus for the general anesthesiology position, but the physician will need to do blocks. You will be supported by advanced practice providers and other anesthesiologists. You will do 100 percent of your own cases. Call will be one weekend per month. The group requires that you be board certified or board eligible. An IA license will be required, and CompHealth can assist you with the process.
