Seeking a Pediatrician to join our practice located in beautiful upstate Hudson, New York. It is a 192 bed facility whose philosophy is 'Patients First'. We are two and a half hours north of New York City and 45 minutes south of Albany.

We offer numerous opportunities for our Medical Staff to work in a progressive hospital whose range of services include state of the art Medical Imaging, which includes a closed and open MRI, a newly constructed Emergency Room, five (5) Surgical Suites, and over 37 physician practices.

Job Description:

Summary/Objective: We are looking for a full or part time Pediatrician for a growing rural practice in Greene County, NY. The position is currently an outpatient environment only. The applicant would be part of a large group practice but in a small satellite office within a large hospital owned multispecialty group. You will enjoy an excellent collegial environment with seasoned, well respected physicians in the practice. You would be part of an active Pediatric department that meets regularly to collaborate and shape the direction of our quality goals. There is outstanding specialty support with every specialty is at your service.

Setting Type: Outpatient only. We strive to maintain a family feel to the group and we have put a lot of effort into avoiding the large corporate feel that medicine has become. As a result, we have high retention. Physicians who join us, become part of the community and end up staying until they are ready to retire. The area is picturesque with mountains, lakes and great outdoor activity availability.

Facility Description: Outpatient practice located in our Green County Medical Office Complex.

Other Staff (MD's, NP/PA's, MA's): There are 3 Pediatricians, and 2 Nurse Practitioners covering two offices. Your location would be in the Catskill office where there will usually be one other Pediatrician and one nurse practitioner working.

Patients Per Day: Variable, but we would like to see a 18-20 patients per day. Depending upon the hours worked each day the volume would change. It also varies with the volume of new patients which often take longer. We offer 80% clinical time and 20% Administrative time to all of our practitioners.

Hours: Negotiable

Schedule: On average one in 5-6.

Call Type: Outpatient
