Our client seeks an experienced physician leader to serve as Primary Care Practice Administrator for a 12-provider practice serving the members of the Culinary Health Fund in Las Vegas. The Center, which opened June 2017, serves over 100,000 hospitality industry professionals and their dependents. This position offers potential growth opportunity as additional clinics open in Nevada. 

This is an exciting career opportunity, as the Administrator will be employed by Activate Healthcare, an innovative healthcare organization offering a unique solution to employers to reduce and manage their healthcare costs by acting as their Health Asset Manager. Through a process of Assess => Deliver => Engage => Align, Activate providers influence employee behavior in the areas of wellness, prevention, chronic disease management, and behavior modification.

The company provides leading edge tools, including: health risk assessments, remote monitoring software for high risk patients, a 24-hour nurse hotline, an electronic medical record, claims analysis, and a unique rewards program to incentivize employee behavior.

The Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical and support operations of the Practice:  Creating a culture which focuses on putting the patient in the center; utilizes best practices and continuous improvement techniques to deliver an exceptional patient experience and; focus on efficiency to create optimal access for the Culinary Fund membership.

  • Facilities and Equipment Maintenance


The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:

  • Minimum of 12 years of demonstrated progressive experience in managing primary care practices, including previous experience as an administrator or practice manager
  • Exceptional capacity for managing, leading and building teams
  • Action-oriented and looking for challenges
  • Results-proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation
  • Thorough understanding of finance, systems, HR and Lean concepts
  • MD or DO with a Masters in Business or Health Administration preferred though experience may substitute
