HonorHealth is currently seeking dynamic, innovative medical educators to develop and teach the ambulatory/outpatient curriculum of the Internal Medicine Residency program. Established in 2016, we are currently seeking an Associate Program Director to meet the needs of the growing program.
ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOR - POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Director (AD) teaches HonorHealth Internal Medicine residents in the practice of internal medicine either in an ambulatory, inpatient or subspecialty setting. The AD provides medical care for patients in an ambulatory, inpatient or subspecialty setting as agreed upon by the Program Director. The AD coordinates and directs a variety of curriculum areas and performs selected administrative duties for the residency and the hospital as assigned by the Program Director. The AD functions as a role model for residents in the clinical practice of internal medicine.The AD participates and develops educational programs for the residents and other faculty members. The AD participates in scholarly activities at the state, regional or national level and assists/supervises scholarly activities for the resident and other faculty members.
EDUCATION: MD or DO
EXPERIENCE: Strong Clinical and teaching skills. 3 year residency in the practice of Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Current or prior experience in an Internal Medicine residency program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Eligible for Arizona State License. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, ABIM
